About Richard
I am a Consultant Otolaryngologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Dundee. I studied at the University of Newcastle and trained as a junior doctor in the North East of England.
My registrar training took me to the East of Scotland in Edinburgh and Dundee. I have Royal College of Surgeons accredited fellowship in advanced rhinology from Aintree Hospital Liverpool and was appointed as a Consultant in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee in 2020.

During my training I was the Junior President of the British Rhinological Society.

I have a specialist interest in rhinology and allergy. I am the co-ordinator in Tayside for hereditary haemorrhagic telangectasia and run the combined vasculitis and allergy clinics.
​
I only have a maximum of 2 medicolegal cases ongoing at any point and have a turn around of 4 weeks from formal instruction.

What to expect from Richard

Correspondence within 5 working days

Reports within 14 days of interview of the client or receipt of the medical records

Provision of an objective expert report which will be addressed to the court

Patients will be seen in Dundee (Complete Health) or Stirling (Kings Park), I am happy to liaise with instructing solicitors to see patients in a mutually convenient location in the Scotland, North East and North West England

Fees are payable 90 days after receipt of report and are based on an hourly rate of £250 ​
